This privacy policy describes which personal data Logiwolf processes on the website logiwolf.com, for which purposes, where it is stored, and what rights you have. This is a convenience translation; the German version is legally binding.

Foldercrate is the provider of the Logiwolf web analytics platform (logiwolf.com) and operates this website. For customers who use Logiwolf on their own websites, Foldercrate acts as a processor; see the data processing agreement for details.data processing agreement.

2. Scope and applicable law

This privacy policy applies to the processing of personal data on logiwolf.com and its linked subpages (not to the Logiwolf application at app.logiwolf.com, which has its own privacy information). Depending on your place of residence, the following laws apply:

3. Logiwolf's privacy principles

Logiwolf was designed as a privacy-friendly web analytics platform. On logiwolf.com itself we apply these principles consistently:

  • No cookies for analytics or marketing purposes. We forgo cookie banners because we set no cookies that would require consent.
  • No third-party trackers such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight or similar marketing trackers.
  • Datensparsamkeit: We process only data that is genuinely required to operate the website or provide our services.
  • Swiss hosting The website logiwolf.com is hosted in Switzerland (Hostpoint AG, Rapperswil-Jona).

4. Web hosting and server log files

The website logiwolf.com is hosted byHostpoint AG, Neue Jonastrasse 60, 8640 Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland. Hostpoint is a hosting provider domiciled in Switzerland. A data processing agreement is in place with Hostpoint.

When the website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically records server log files. These contain:

  • Anonymised IP address (truncated before storage)
  • Date and time of access
  • Requested URL and HTTP status code
  • Amount of data transferred
  • User agent (browser and operating system)
  • Referrer-URL (falls vorhanden)

Purpose: Sicherstellung des technischen Betriebs, Abwehr von Angriffen, Fehleranalyse.
Legal basis: Art. 31 para. 1 lit. d revFADP (overriding legitimate interest in secure operation) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Retention period: 30 days, followed by automatic deletion.
Recipients: Hostpoint AG as processor, exclusively in Switzerland.

5. Logiwolf Webanalyse auf logiwolf.com

We use our own web analytics platform, Logiwolf, on logiwolf.com to statistically evaluate and improve the use of our website. Logiwolf works without cookies and without personal identifiers. The following is recorded:

Data processed:

  • Anonymisierte Pageviews (aufgerufene URLs, Zeitstempel)
  • Anonyme Sitzungsinformationen (Verweildauer, Klick-Pfade)
  • Device information (browser, operating system, screen resolution) in aggregated form
  • Approximate geographic location (country, optionally region) based on the hashed IP address
  • Referrer-Quelle (falls vorhanden)
  • Optionally: anonymised heatmaps and session recordings (input fields, passwords and sensitive data are masked automatically)

Not recorded: Real names, email addresses, cookies, device fingerprints, persistent user IDs, cross-site tracking data.

Purpose: Statistical evaluation of usage behaviour to improve the website.
Legal basis: Art. 31 para. 1 lit. d revFADP / Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in aggregated usage statistics). As no personal data is stored, no consent is required.
Retention period: 3 Jahre.
Recipients: Foldercrate as controller; technical processing within the Logiwolf infrastructure (Switzerland, Zurich and Geneva).

6. Contacting us

If you contact us by email (e.g. athello@logiwolf.com, privacy@logiwolf.com oder security@logiwolf.com), we process the email address you provide and the content of your message in order to handle the enquiry.

Purpose: Handling the specific enquiry and any follow-up communication.
Legal basis: Art. 31 para. 2 lit. a revFADP / Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
Retention period: Until the enquiry is resolved, thereafter in accordance with statutory retention periods (generally 10 years for business-related enquiries with tax relevance).

7. Registration and Logiwolf account

Registration is required to use the Logiwolf application. Registration takes place on app.logiwolf.com, not directly on logiwolf.com. The following is processed:

  • Email address
  • Chosen password (stored hashed)
  • Optionally: name, company, address (for invoicing)

Purpose: Provision of the Logiwolf service, billing, account-related communication.
Legal basis: Art. 31 para. 2 lit. a revFADP / Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of contract).
Retention period: Until account deletion; invoicing data in accordance with statutory retention obligations (10 years under Art. 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations).

8. Payment processing via Stripe

For processing paid subscriptions we use the payment service providerStripe Payments Europe, Limited, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland (for EU and UK customers) orStripe, Inc., 354 Oyster Point Boulevard, South San Francisco, CA 94080, USA (for customers outside the EU/UK).

When a payment is made, the payment data (credit card number, bank details, TWINT identifier, etc.) is transmitted directly to Stripe and neither stored nor processed by Foldercrate.stripe.com/de/privacy.

Purpose: Secure processing of card payments, fraud prevention, invoicing.
Legal basis: Art. 31 para. 2 lit. a revFADP / Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of contract).
Recipients: Stripe Payments Europe (Irland) bzw. Stripe Inc. (USA).
Third-country transfer: For customers outside the EU/UK, a transfer to the US may occur. Stripe Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses apply in addition.

9. Your rights

Depending on the applicable law, you have the following rights vis-à-vis Foldercrate as controller:

  • Right of access (Art. 25 revFADP, Art. 15 GDPR, Art. 15 UK GDPR): you can request information on whether and which personal data we process about you.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 32 para. 1 revFADP, Art. 16 GDPR): you can request the correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 32 para. 2 lit. c revFADP, Art. 17 GDPR): you can request the deletion of your data unless statutory retention obligations prevent it.
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): under certain conditions you can request restriction of processing.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 28 revFADP, Art. 20 GDPR): you can receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): you can object to the processing of your data where it is based on a legitimate interest.
  • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR): you can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.
  • Right to lodge a complaint: you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (see below).

11. Data security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or manipulation. These include:

  • TLS encryption of all connections to the website (HTTPS)
  • Password hashing with modern algorithms (bcrypt/argon2)
  • Hashing and anonymisation of IP addresses before storage
  • Access restrictions on data on a need-to-know basis
  • Regular backups in Swiss data centres
  • Swiss hosting with no data flows to insecure third countries

Please note that data transmissions over the internet (e.g. by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.

12. Automated decision-making and profiling

Wir nutzen keine automatisierten Entscheidungsfindungen oder Profiling im Sinne von Art. 22 DSGVO bzw. Art. 21 revDSG.

13. Children and minors

Logiwolf is not directed at persons under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Should we become aware that such data has been transmitted to us, we will delete it without delay.

14. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy to reflect changes in the law, technical developments or new features. The current version is always available at logiwolf.com/en/privacy.html.
